Risk becoming your best.

Risk being your best every day at Perk. In preparing individuals for success in college and life, we nurture common sense, a sense of justice, a sense of honor, a sense of responsibility and a sense of humor.

The Perkiomen School is a traditional coeducational college preparatory boarding and day school where structure, support, self-discipline, and integrity are valued. Perkiomen admits students in grades six through twelve and offers a year for postgraduate students.

Perk is located in Greater Philadelphia. Within walking distance of campus 50 shops, restaurants, banks, and salons are available for students. The Lehigh Valley is to the north (Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton), Philadelphia is 49 miles to our south, and New York City is only 104 miles east. Perkiomen is convenient to some of the nation’s finest cultural and educational institutions, great shopping and entertainment, and beautiful countryside with skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, and much more.

Mid-July Perkiomen welcomed Kimberly Gardner to the team. Kimberly comes to Perkiomen from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is a graduate of University of Wisconsin – Madison. Her work in communications and marketing is extensive. Previously, she has worked at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, The American Heart Association, University of Massachusetts, Northwestern University, and Union College. She is excited to dive into work at Perk. Her number one priority will be redesigning the website.
It is still summer, so you have a few more days to re-charge, relax, and refresh before school starts. Take some of that time to read. Everyone is reading The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer. We will use this inspiring book throughout the year.
Here are just a few notes for recent graduates to keep you up-to-date on Perk things that affect you. This week, we mailed each senior a class picture, your diploma picture, the videos from Baccalaureate Service and Commencement, and candid pictures from prom and Commencement Weekend. Be on the lookout for these packages.
