Theater

The Upper School theater program at Perk is largely extra-curricular.  Upper school students may elect theater (in the fall and winter terms) as an afterschool activity, and may audition for two productions each year. Typically these include a straight play (comedy or drama) in the fall  and a musical in late February. There are additional opportunities for student-led productions as interest may indicate.

In the Middle School,  Theater is part of the regular fine arts curriculum. 7th and 8th grade students attend class every other day for one term. During the winter term, Middle School students also have the opportunity to participate in the after school program. A separate production is staged with middle school students.
