Facilities
The campus main Athletic Facility is a single story brick structure built in 1966. The Athletic Center has separate exhibition and practice gymnasiums, the Huttel Natatorium (pool) with locker rooms and observation bleachers, a spacious lobby, snack bar, extensive weight room, wrestling room with a batting cage that drops from the ceiling, training room and offices.
Athletic Fields: All of Perkiomen School’s athletic fields are constructed of natural turf. The purposes, locations and features are as follows:
The football field is located on the north side of campus adjacent to Kriebel Hall and is encircled by a running track. The football field has: an electronic scoreboard, announcing/video booth, coaches’ communication system, spectator bleachers, and an irrigation system. Ample parking is across the street at the Schumo Academic Center.
This field is located on the north side of campus adjacent to the football field. This field has spectator bleachers and fencing for stray balls.
Constructed in 2006, this field is located on the northwest side of campus along Tinnerholm Way. It has benches for spectators and parking available at the Hollenbach Athletic Center.
Girls’ Varsity/JV Field Hockey/Lacrosse Field: Positioned on the northwest side of campus behind the tennis courts, this field has an electronic scoreboard, spectator bleachers, and parking available at the Hollenbach Athletic Center and the Stauffer Tennis Courts.
This newly renovated field is located on the southwest side of campus behind Parents Hall. Baker Field, renovated in 2007, is fully enclosed with bleachers for visiting and home spectators, a large storage shed, a satellite controlled irrigation system, an electronic scoreboard, and ample parking behind Parents Hall and Ruhl Hall.
Located beyond the Middle School Boys Soccer/Lacrosse field, the Softball Field has spectator bleachers, two storage sheds, portable outfield fencing, a manual scoreboard, and benches for home and visiting teams.
Warren Zeller Athletic Field:
This field, located in the center of our campus, is surrounded by Schultz Hall, Ruhl Hall, Parents Hall, and the Hollenbach Athletic Center. It is equipped with a new electronic scoreboard (2006), spectator bleachers (2007), a game media system (2007), and a seven-zone irrigation system. Parking is available at Parents Hall, Ruhl Hall, and the Hollenbach Athletic Center.
This complex, completed in 2006, consists of six tennis courts located behind the Hollenbach Athletic Center. It is constructed of asphalt, is fully enclosed and lighted, has spectator bleachers, and an adjacent parking lot.
