Perkiomen School is proud to announce that 114 students earned Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar recognition from the College Board for their outstanding performance on AP Exams during the 2025-26 academic year.
The AP Scholar Awards recognize high school students who demonstrate exceptional achievement on multiple AP Exams. Students qualify for various levels of recognition based on the number of exams taken and the scores earned, reflecting academic excellence and a commitment to challenging coursework.
AP Scholars
There are four AP Scholar award levels: AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, AP Scholar with Distinction and AP International Diploma. AP Scholar awards are granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams. The distinctions recognize varying levels of achievement, with AP Scholar with Honor and AP Scholar with Distinction requiring higher average exam scores and additional qualifying exams. The AP International Diploma is awarded to students who demonstrate a globally focused academic experience through AP coursework and exams.
AP Scholars with Honor
This year, Perkiomen students earned awards in every category. Fifty students were named AP Scholar, 26 earned AP Scholar with Honor and 38 earned AP Scholar with Distinction. In addition, one student recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction and one student recognized as an AP Scholar with Honor also earned the AP International Diploma.
