For Kyle Bixler, coming on board as the Head of the Strength and Conditioning program is a homecoming. The 2000 graduate of Perkiomen School returns to bring his extensive knowledge and expertise to Panthers Athletics.

“I’m looking forward to returning to my alma mater,” says Bixler. “With 18 years of strength and conditioning coaching experience, I’m excited to work with the Perkiomen athletes. My main goal is to help them grow both mentally and physically to become stronger athletes!”

Bixler is a long-time coach and competitor. As a Perkiomen student, he was a member of the basketball team. After graduation, he continued his basketball career at Neumann University then set his sights on strength training. He currently owns and manages a strongman promotional company that has promoted 85 contests across Pennsylvania and Delaware. He also operates two personal training studios in the area.

Bixler has also been an educator. As a physical education teacher, he has been involved in schools and strength and conditioning since 2008. His knowledge and experience lead him to be the perfect addition to the growing athletics program at Perkiomen School. The addition of Bixler to the staff is an investment in Panther student-athletes, giving them an extra edge in preparing them for competition and sports after high school.

“As an alum and dominant student athlete,” says Mark A. Devey, Head of School, “Mr. Bixler knows our school culture and understands our values. His wealth of experience and personal drive will positively impact our athletes and the health and well-being of our entire community.”
