Perkiomen School is proud to announce that eight members of the Class of 2026 have been recognized as Academic All-Americans by the National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA), an honor that celebrates excellence in both academics and athletics.
The Academic All-American program recognizes student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the classroom while competing at a high level in their respective sports. The Perkiomen School Athletic Department nominates qualified students for consideration, with final selections made by the NHSCA.
The following Perkiomen School students earned Academic All-American recognition:
- EJ Allain, Lacrosse – continuing at Connecticut College
- Lily Black, Soccer– continuing at Southern Illinois University
- Liam Finkel, Lacrosse– continuing at Yale University
- Mia Frizzell, Volleyball and Softball
- Sarah Beth Hughes, Volleyball
- Oleksii Sokolov, Track & Field
- Zac Smith, Track & Field
- Reeve Sysko, Basketball – continuing at Middlebury College
“These students embody the values we cultivate at Perkiomen School,” says Head of School Mark A. Devey. “Their commitment to the pursuit of scholastic excellence, leadership, and athletic achievement reflects the dedication and perseverance required to succeed both in the classroom and in competition. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments.”
The Academic All-American distinction highlights the balance these students have maintained while meeting the demands of a rigorous academic program and competitive athletic schedules. Their recognition is a testament to their hard work, the support of their families and coaches, and how they have embodied the school’s motto to risk becoming their best.
