Michael Foux named Perkiomen School’s 150th Commencement Speaker

Head of School Mark A. Devey announced that Associate Head of School for Finance and Operations and Chief Financial Officer Michael Foux will speak at Perkiomen School’s 150th commencement on May 24, 2025. Perkiomen School will confer degrees on 94 members of the Class of 2025.

After a 17-year career with Perkiomen School, Mike Foux will be retiring at the conclusion of this academic year.

Foux began his Perkiomen career in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer. Just a year later, he was promoted to Associate Head of School for Finance and Operations. In 2017 his role was expanded to include support for the school’s newly formed Institutes.

During his time at Perkiomen he has been responsible for the school’s finances, business operations, building and grounds maintenance, and security.  He was also Head Coach of the Varsity Boys Tennis Team from 2010 to 2017 and more recently in 2023.

Prior to joining Perkiomen, Foux was Vice President, Circulation and Consumer Marketing at The Morning Call and Associate Publisher of The Chronicles, The Morning Call’s weekly newspaper division.  His career with the newspaper spanned 21 years, in a variety of management and executive positions.

Foux earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computers and information systems from Kings College and received an MBA from Lehigh University. He is also a graduate of Leadership Lehigh Valley, a one-year program that focuses on community involvement and volunteer leadership. Following graduation Foux was an active advisor to Leadership Lehigh Valley and served on the board of the Allentown YMCA, the Allentown Urban Observatory and the board of the Boy Scouts Minsi Trails Council.  He was the founding President of the Allentown Art Museum Board of Associates and served on the President’s Council of DeSales University, the Muhlenberg College Board of Associates and on the Perk-Up Committee of the Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce.  He currently serves on the Finance Committee of The Open Link, a human services organization based in Pennsburg.

“Mike Foux has made a positive and permanent impact on Perkiomen School,” says Devey. “His leadership, community-mindedness, and proactive approach to the school’s operations have brought us to the institution we are today. His life experience combined with his sense of humor and the importance of family will certainly be reflected in the words of wisdom he imparts to the Class of 2025.”
