Perkiomen School’s Head of School Mark A. Devey shared the names of the community members with the honor of speaking during the school’s year-end celebrations.
Declan Nayak, of Emmaus, Pa., has earned the honor of Valedictorian. Nayak has the top academic standing in the Class of 2025, having taken 20 Advanced Placement and Honors courses. Nayak serves as Student Body President, is a member of the Cum Laude Society and made an impact athletically as a member of the Prep and National Basketball teams. Nayak will attend Williams College and major in economics.

Lillian Gunder, of Perkiomenville, Pa., has earned the distinction of Salutatorian. She has distinguished herself with excellent academic standing, taking 10 Advanced Placement and Honors classes and earning Artificial Intelligence and Design Institute Distinction. She has also been a strong student-athlete, playing tennis and lacrosse, and was named to the Cum Laude Society. Gunder will attend St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where she will major in biology and play lacrosse.

Perkiomen School’s 150th commencement will be held on the campus sward on May 24, 2025. Perkiomen School will confer degrees on 94 members of the Class of 2025.
In addition to Commencement speakers, Devey announced the Baccalaureate Service speakers, who were nominated by the members of the Class of 2025. Director of the Entrepreneur Institute Eric Frey will deliver the faculty remarks and Edward (Tommy) Winslow, of Winnetka, Ill., will represent the class. Winslow will attend Washington College, majoring in political science/pre-law with a minor in Philosophy, and will play lacrosse.
The Middle School Moving Up Ceremony, to be held on May 21, will feature eighth grade speakers Evan Johnson, of Schwenksville, Pa., and Laura Tran, of Barto, Pa.
