College Counseling
A World of Possibility
Perkiomen students go on to achieve success at a range of excellent college and universities in the United States and many other countries. Each year, students submit applications to a wide variety of schools and programs and enroll in the institutions that best fit their academic needs and goals.
Perkiomen offers its students the support of a dedicated college counseling program. The hallmark of this program is the truly exceptional degree of personal attention the college counselors are able to provide each student.
Our college process begins with the virtue of our school’s motto: Solvitur Vivendo, which means “it is solved by living.” We believe that experience is the best teacher, and that the best preparation for success in college is to enable our students to grow and explore their talents and passions academically and extracurricularly. Being involved and purposeful in their approach to their high school career will stand out to the many colleges and universities that come to Perkiomen to recruit our talented students.
Our philosophy extends to helping students find the “right fit” in terms of achieving their post-secondary goals. We offer personal, comprehensive counseling as our students navigate the ever-changing landscape of college admissions. However, we firmly believe that it is the student who must drive this process; which includes self-reflection, goal-setting, and time management. The culmination of this maturation process comes when the student decides what path they will follow after graduation.

For College Representatives
Perkiomen School is an independent boarding and day school founded in 1875 and located north of Philadelphia in rural Pennsburg. We have the flexibility to accommodate visits throughout the academic day.
At Perkiomen School we put the highest value on ensuring our students have the opportunity to sit down and meet with college representatives like yourself one-on-one. Each year, we welcome between 120 and 150 college and university representatives to campus. We highly value your time and the opportunity for both our students and our office to learn about the programs and opportunities at your institution. To register to visit our campus, please find the available dates and times by visiting our page on SCOIR.com. Please reach out to Erin Davidson Kellogg at (215) 679-1161 if you have any special requests or need an alternative date and time.
For those that may becoming to Perkiomen for the first time, please review the following map. Please check into Kriebel Hall upon arriving and a college counselor will meet you there.
