Letter from the Assistant Head of School for External Affairs August 20, 2020 Dear Perkiomen Families,
We are ready and eager to officially welcome your students back to school! When Al Dubin '11 (that's 1911!) wrote our alma mater, he could never have imagined what 2020 would bring, however, the words of our alma mater feel particularly relevant this year. Let your mem'ries linger longer, Alma Mater dear; Ev'ry day we're growing fonder, Be we far or near, When we wander, wander, wander Far away from you, Perkiomen we are loyal - Loyal, tried and true. This year, although some of us will be far and some of us will be near, we remain loyal, tried and true to Perkiomen. We extend a special welcome to our new families - we are excited to share our Perkiomen traditions with you! To our returning families, we look forward to reconnecting in new ways and through new interpretations of our Perkiomen celebrations and milestones. Registration and Orientation will look different this year and we want to ensure you are aware of the dates, times, and expectations to help make this a smooth and positive experience for everyone. Thank you for arriving to campus on time for your Registration Day time slot. Thank you also for wearing your mask on campus, abiding by the social distancing guidelines, and for staying home if you are not feeling well. Please note: If your student is beginning Term 1 online, families do not need to participate in on-campus Registration. All students, families, faculty and staff are encouraged to join us for a welcome session with Head of School Mark A. Devey on Wednesday, September 2 at 8 p.m. EDT (PW: 9KHwPQ).
