Risk becoming your best.

Risk being your best every day at Perk. In preparing individuals for success in college and life, we nurture common sense, a sense of justice, a sense of honor, a sense of responsibility and a sense of humor.

The Perkiomen School is a traditional coeducational college preparatory boarding and day school where structure, support, self-discipline, and integrity are valued. Perkiomen admits students in grades six through twelve and offers a year for postgraduate students.

Perk is located in Greater Philadelphia. Within walking distance of campus 50 shops, restaurants, banks, and salons are available for students. The Lehigh Valley is to the north (Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton), Philadelphia is 49 miles to our south, and New York City is only 104 miles east. Perkiomen is convenient to some of the nation’s finest cultural and educational institutions, great shopping and entertainment, and beautiful countryside with skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, and much more.

What's happening on campus.

Alumni often tell stories of the "dreaded term paper." Do you remember what we had to write, it was so long, why do we have to do this, and so on. The History Department decided it was time to spice up the standard ninth grade term paper assignments. The students did not have a defined assignment. They had to generate a question, research it, and plan the answer. And of course, then write a paper answering the key question, but it was a question they had set themselves. At each step, faculty members helped students review and revise their work.
Bianca Wilson '06 will address the class of 2016 at their Commencement on May 28. In her ten years since graduating from Perkiomen, she has carved a dynamic career in the health care industry. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Felician Univeristy. While completing her degree she worked as bridal sales consultant, which launched her management career. Upon graduation she worked at KASS Pharmacy Management. This position helped her marry her passion for management and science.
The water crisis in Flint, Michigan seems surreal. How in America can people be without water to drink, cook, and bathe? This is the question that troubled senior Kent Shi. During spring break, Kent heard about the crisis and was deeply moved. He said we take water for granted. We can buy a bottle of water, fill our water bottle up at a fountain, and take long showers without a care or worry. But the people of Flint can't and won't be able to for the foreseeable future. There is just no easy fix; it is frustrating and really hits you in the heart
